Join the adorable puppy, Pippin, as she explores growing up at Sunny Hills Farm. Our puppy protagonist is joined by a colorful cast of characters that include her family, farm friends, and the little girl with two braids.

Wholesome and lovely, Pippin’s story provides parents a natural entry point for talking to young kids about issues surrounding identity. The puppy’s heartfelt journey to loving herself as she is stands in contrast to modern culture’s notion of needing to change oneself to fit into the crowd. Instead, this charming story readily communicates that our physical features are not a mistake.

Children will delight to discover Pippin’s next adventure and even parents will want to linger on each page to study the whimsical illustrations. Look closely to find a hidden character in each scene!

The illustrations are just magical. I love them! And I love what you are trying to accomplish. Stories like this are so needed!

The pictures were funny, and a few of them made me laugh out loud. I think this book is for little kids all the way to grown ups. When I read the first few sentences, I had the feeling that I wanted to read more to find out what happens to Pippin.
